Els refrescos sense cafe\u00efna s\u00f3n cada cop m\u00e9s usuals en el nostre dia a dia i hem volgut aprendre com es feia. Hem fet servir dicloromet\u00e0 (Cl2CH2), que \u00e9s el dissolvent org\u00e0nic en qu\u00e8 es dissoldr\u00e0 la cafe\u00efna. El dicloromet\u00e0 podr\u00e0 ser separat del refresc perqu\u00e8 \u00e9s immiscible en aigua. Un cop evaporat gaireb\u00e9 tot el dicloromet\u00e0, es far\u00e0 sublimar la cafe\u00efna per separar-la de qualsevol altre component dissolt al dicloromet\u00e0.
